Diedre Alexander, 12, of Jacksontown said she enjoyed the camp because of the great coaching provided by event co-organizers Dana and Tara Lawrence of Woodstock.

Ian McDougall, 11, of Sommerville hit the court last week at the Shoot 'Em Up basketball camp in Hartland.

Jacob McLean, 11, of Waterville and Caleb Oliver, 12, of St. Thomas took part last week in the 2008 Shoot 'Em Up basketball camp in Hartland. The week-long event stressed skill development for players from Grades 5 to 10.

Adam Harrington, 15, of Hartland says he enjoyed the Shoot' Em Up basketball camp because "it gave me a chance to get some training in before the start of my 2008-09 high school season at Hartland High."

The 2008 Shoot 'Em Up basketball camp wrapped up on Friday at the Hartland Community School. More than 50 took part in the week-long event for young athletes from the River Valley region.
