New Brunswick new official opposition leader will be the keynote speaker at next week's Central Carleton Chamber Of Commerce.

On Nov. 25, the chamber will host a dinner meeting at the Hartland Community School with Progressive Conservative leader David Alward on hand to address the Central Carleton's business leaders and residents.

Also this month, the Central Carleton Chamber will kick off the region's Christmas celebrations with a tree-lighting ceremony. The event, which will include activities and craft creation for the children and music and readings for the adults, will begin at 6 p.m. at the Hartland Baptist Church.

Refreshments will be served in the gym following the tree lighting.
