School donation

The Hartland Community School recently made a donation of $2,000 to the local committee which is trying to establish the new Central Carleton Rec Plex at the site of the Hartland Community Arena. Proceeds were raised via an exhibition boys hockey game between the host Hartland High AA Huskies and the visiting Woodstock High DQ Thunder. On hand for last week's official cheque presentation ceremonies included Jared Clark of the Huskies and committee co-chairs Joe Sullivan and Richard Orser.
